comprised of a mixed hardwood forest alive with the sites and sounds of nature
that has been enjoyed by elementary school children for years. Protected in
1996, this easement ensures that this land will continue to provide wildlife
habitat, protect the water quality of Big Alamance Creek and provide the
possibility for children to continue to learn about nature in the woods rather
than in the classroom.
