Provincetown Forest ~ 6 acres, Guilford County

Provincetown Forest is a small triangular shaped parcel and PLC’s first preserve.  Donated by Cornwallis Development in 1994, this property provides a wooded buffer between residential homes and nearby businesses.  Additionally, the woods provide wildlife habitat for migratory songbirds and animals that live in the vicinity of Buffalo Lake.  PLC has maintained the property in its natural state.  It is currently closed to the public except for PLC-related activities such as clean-up days.
