Planned Giving

The Conservancy is supported through gifts and grants from many individuals and organizations, and we are grateful to them for helping us preserve and protect the beautiful and environmentally significant lands of the Piedmont. There are many ways to give to support our mission and we welcome your support in whatever way you wish to be involved.

Outright Gifts of Assets

Your outright gift of assets is a wonderful way to help us preserve the beauty and livability of our communities. Significant gifts of assets may be given as cash, appreciated securities, real estate, or life insurance policies. Many of these types of gifts offer attractive tax advantages for donors. To learn more about gifts of assets, click here, or call our offices at 336-691-0088 and talk with Kevin Redding, Executive Director for PLC.

Deferred Gift Opportunities

Many of our donors have chosen to support the Conservancy with planned bequests, willed easements, or through the establishment of charitable trusts. You may wish to consult your attorney or advisor for additional information about the tax benefits of such arrangements which can significantly reduce estate taxes while simultaneously helping us to protect and preserve our parks, farms, rivers, greenways, and historic lands. To learn more about Deferred Gift Opportunities, and about our partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, please call our offices at 336-691-0088 and talk with Kevin Redding, Executive Director for PLC. We look forward to working with you to design a planned gift which meets your needs and which helps you achieve your aims for land conservation.
