The upper sections of the Dan River in Stokes County make you feel like you are in the mountains with its steep, rhododendron slopes and rocky cliffs.

We will paddle down one of the most beautiful sections of the Upper Dan, a 6 ½ mile section near Hanging Rock State Park. The trip will last 3 – 4 hours, so pack a lunch or snacks to enjoy along the way.
