Selma Cornelison Ward Nature Preserve – Randolph County

Managed by the NC Zoo, the Selma Cornelison Ward Nature Preserve protects 296 acres at the headwaters of Bachelor Creek, south of the Zoo’s primary campus. This beautiful preserve includes a mature hardwood forest and scenic views of southern Randolph County. The preserve will eventually be open to hiking trails and other passive recreation.
