It’s been a great week out at the Knight Brown Nature Preserve in Rockingham County! The trail system has gotten new, painted markers that are easier to see and more durable than the plastic markers that were used previously. Our hard working volunteers helped establish the new markers in just 2 half days of work! We had some wonderful warm and dry weather that made the workday a pleasant beginning to the coming Spring season. Thank you to our volunteers who gave their time and energy to make Knight Brown an even better place to get out and connect with nature! With the weather getting warmer, now’s the time to come out and see the new trail markings and experience the nature preserve in its early Spring glory! There are already many delicate wildflowers poking out of the ground and the stream is shimmering in the crisp Spring sunlight.
