Spring is upon us and our plant friends are bursting from the ground, blooming and growing so fast. All of our favorite birds are singing their songs, and the amphibians are sunning on boulders waiting for the next tasty treat to fly by. What a perfect time to visit Wellspring Mountain!
Join us for a nice stroll through the cool forest. Ken Bridle, Stewardship Director at PLC, and Thomas Easley, Founder and lead instructor of the Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine, will teach you how to identify native plants and what their traditional medicinal uses are.
A healthy nutritious lunch will be served (lunch is complimentary, donations will be accepted).
So come on out for a wonderful day of plant walks, plant talks, and gourmet eats!
Please RSVP directly to Wellspring Mountain at 336-352-3323. Space is very limited!
*Please Note: If you have never been to Wellspring Mountain the terrain is very rocky in places. You may want to wear shoes fit for hiking, long pants and a rain coat just in case.
