The Future Bandera Farms Park
Summerfield, NC
Bandera Farms Park located in Summerfield, NC will be a planned, 115-acre, multi-jurisdictional regional park in a rapidly growing area of Guilford County that will serve a variety of users with
- a segment of the Piedmont Greenway,
- an exceptional network of purpose-built natural surface trails for equestrians and hikers,
- a destination quality adventure playground,
- and a picnic shelter and restrooms,
all within an open space resource that invites the community to explore and play. This project is the result of a partnership between the Town of Summerfield, Piedmont Land Conservancy, Town of Oak Ridge, City of Greensboro, and Guilford County.

Ensure grant competitiveness by adhereing to planning guidelines required by the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF).

The Master Plan recommends that Bandera Farms Park have 4.5 miles of natural surface trails, 1 mile of the Piedmont Greenway, and two parking areas (12 pull through parking spots for horse trailers, 60 parking spots for cars). See the plans below:
