PLC has worked with government partners and local communities to protect, create, or add to existing local, state and national parks across our region. These projects demonstrate how PLC can work quickly to protect threatened lands and how effective PLC can be as a non-governmental partner. Often, government agencies are unable to acquire land immediately due to administrative processes. In other cases, landowners prefer to work with non-governmental organizations like PLC.
