Join PLC for a spring wildflower walk on Faith Rock just outside Asheboro in Randolph County. Explore this unique natural area and enjoy the remarkable views of the Deep River from high on top of Faith Rock itself, while learning about the remarkable Revolutionary War history of this special place. PLC acquired Faith Rock last year and is transferring the property to the Town of Franklinville for use as a natural area park and a connector from the Deep River Trail, a rail trail which runs along the Deep River. This outing will be led by NC Zoo Deputy Director and PLC Board Vice President Mary Joan Pugh and you can learn more about Faith Rock here.

Meeting Place: We will meet at the parking lot at Faith Rock.  It is on Main St. to the right after you cross the Andrew Hunter Rd. bridge into Franklinville.
